Ads Lighthouse

Affiliate compliance

Find the affiliates bidding on your brand.

Many programs forbid partners from bidding on brand terms. Ads Lighthouse reads the affiliate parameter in ad links on your brand searches, matches it to the IDs you register and keeps each case organized.

7-day free trial. Card required, cancel anytime before it ends.

The advertiser domain rarely tells you who the partner is.

An affiliate can run an ad under a coupon site, a lookalike domain or your own display URL. The clue is usually the tracking ID in the link, and nobody wants to click through hundreds of ads to read it.

Affiliate IDs read from the destination URL of saved ads.

How it works

  1. 01

    Tell us your parameter

Enter the query parameter your program uses, such as affiliate_id, and optionally a directory of IDs with partner names.

  2. 02

    Monitor your brand terms

Scheduled checks save every Google ad on your brand searches with its destination URL.

  3. 03

    Review matched IDs

The Affiliates report names registered IDs and keeps unknown IDs visible so you can identify them later.

  4. 04

    Work the cases

Non-compliant affiliates, whose ads used your brand on a domain you do not own, move through New, In progress, Resolved or Ignored, and each case can be downloaded as a report.

What you get

  • Exact ID matching against your own registry
  • Unknown IDs preserved instead of hidden
  • Alerts by email, Slack or webhook when one of your affiliate IDs is detected
  • Case statuses shared by your whole team
  • Coupon sites and common affiliate parameters flagged even before setup
  • Changing your registry re-reads saved ads without buying new checks

What it does not do

  • An ID in a URL shows that the parameter was present. IDs can be copied or misconfigured, so it does not prove who placed the ad or that a commission was paid.
  • Ads Lighthouse does not follow redirect chains yet, so IDs hidden behind redirects may not be visible.
  • There is no direct connection to affiliate networks.

Common questions

Which affiliate networks does it support?

Any program that puts an identifier in a URL parameter. You choose the parameter, so it does not depend on a specific network.

Does it cover Bing?

Bing ads are monitored and appear in Paid results. Affiliate ID matching reads saved Google ad links.
