Proof of concept scorecard

Agree the tasks that decide a purchase before the trial starts, then score each one as met, not met or unresolved with the evidence behind it.

Download CSVCSV file. Opens in Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers.

When to use it

  • Evaluating a brand search monitoring tool over two weeks, or in the compressed one-week plan.
  • Giving the person who configures the trial and the person who checks the findings the same acceptance sheet.
  • Recording a decision owner and the conditions for purchase at the end.

What it contains

FieldWhat to write
TaskOne acceptance task, written before day one.
ResultMet, not met or unresolved. Use unresolved when only a promise supports it.
EvidenceA link, export row or screenshot that shows the result.
NotesTime taken, questions asked and anything still missing.

Tips

  • Add a row for any requirement that would block adoption, such as Bing coverage or affiliate ID detection.
  • Record the configuration and the date of any change, so you do not compare different coverage later.
