Google sign-in lets you use your Google account instead of a password. It only authenticates you; it does not connect your Google Ads or Search Console data.
New accounts
On Create a free account, choose Sign up with Google. If an account already exists for that email address, you are signed in to it instead.
Accounts created with a password
Choose Continue with Google with the Google account that uses the same email address. Google is added to your account and you are signed in; you can keep using your password too.
If you never confirmed your email address, your previous password stops working when Google is added, because anyone could have set it. We email you when this happens; use Forgot password on the sign-in page to set a new one.
Link Google from Security settings
- Open Account in the sidebar and select Security.
- Under Link Google sign-in, enter your current password.
- Select Link Google account and choose the Google account with the same email address.
To stop using Google sign-in, remove Ads Lighthouse from the third-party connections in your Google Account. You can keep signing in with your password.
