- Confirm your email address first. See Verify your email address.
- Sign in as the account owner and open Account at the bottom of the sidebar, then Billing. The Plans & usage page opens.
- Under the plan you want, select Start 7-day free trial.
- Complete Stripe Checkout. You enter a payment card, but you are not charged during the trial.
- Monitoring starts once the trial is confirmed, usually within a minute. Plans & usage shows Trial active and the date the trial ends.
What the trial includes
- Scheduled checks are limited to 7/30 of the plan's monthly allowance, rounded down, because the trial lasts 7 days. Plans & usage shows this as Free trial allowance.
- Realtime checks, used for a project's first run and for checks you start, keep the plan's full monthly allowance.
- Every other plan limit, such as projects, keywords and locations, is the same as on the paid plan.
When the trial ends
- If you do nothing, the trial converts to the plan you chose and the first monthly payment is taken when the 7 days end.
- We email the account owner a reminder before the first charge.
- To avoid being charged, select Cancel trial in Plans & usage before the trial ends. You can keep using the trial until its end date. See Cancel or resume your subscription.
Each account and each email address can use one free trial, also after an account is deleted and the address signs up again. If yours has already had one, the button reads Subscribe to and the paid subscription starts right away.
